Tony Rodriguez – Independent Expert
Tony Rodriguez is a leading independent expert in the field of Data Integration
and Data Quality with over 10 years of expertise gained in live projects. His experience
covers all the major business initiatives that result in the integration of data,
including Data Warehousing, Mergers & Acquisitions, ERP implementation, Application
Migration and System Consolidation. Tony founded Avellino Technologies in 1997 as
a Data Integration Consultancy and helped many blue-chip corporations to be successful
including Abbey National, BT, Co-operative Insurance Services, Ford Financial, UK
Ministry Of Defence, Old Mutual, RAC, Sun Life Of Canada and Xerox. In 2000 He designed
and built the Avellino Discovery product which became the market leader for Data
Profiling and Analysis. Avellino was acquired by Trillium Software in 2004, and
Tony now works advising clients on how to successfully deliver projects by taking
a strategic approach to Data Integration.
Graham Barnes – Business Intelligence Capability Lead, Atos Origin
Graham is the Business Intelligence capability leader within the Information Management
group at Atos Origin UK. He has experience of providing everything from strategic
advice and guidance for national programmes to managing the business critical stages
of delivery projects. He has worked closely with senior managers and technical experts
in a wide range of market sectors, and enjoys the challenge of ensuring that the
data integration and business intelligence needs of his clients are met successfully.
Stephen Jackson – Data Migration Capability Lead, Vertex
Stephen manages Vertex’s Data Migration Capability that was founded two years ago
to recognise the significant part that core ETL capability plays in the successful
delivery of large, complex data migrations. Stephen has 20 years of experience in
IT (the last 12 consecutive being in the fields of Corporate Data Warehousing and
large-scale data migration for different North West Based blue chip companies).
Since joining Vertex Stephen has undertaken senior management roles in three major
data migration projects for both Vertex and United Utilities including SAP (various
functional modules including Financials) Water Billing, Customer Contact and Work
Management.
Mike Green – Senior Project Manager, Vertex
Mike Green is a Senior Project Manager with Vertex and has over 20 years experience
in the IT industry; the last 8 in the Utilities business. Prior to joining Vertex
Mike worked as a Consultant with the Sema Group. He has successfully delivered data
migration projects for Electricity billing and supply, Water billing, Gas supply
and billing, Fleet management and Vehicle breakdown and recovery services. Over
the years Mike has gained a wealth of experience in Data Migration and has developed
a Data Migration approach that has now been adopted by Vertex. Clients include United
Utilities, Edison Mission, Green Flag and Rentokil Initial.
Alex McMorland – CEO of Data Asset Management
Alex founded Data Asset Management with over 25 years management, operations and
consulting experience in the IT sector and has successfully created and implemented
projects that have had a measurable and positive impact on a large number of FTSE
250 organisations. Alex is also an expert in all facets of the establishment, measurement
and commercial exploitation of data as an asset. His vast experience spans from
being directly involved in the successful establishment of three American owned
start-ups (Teradata, Prism, Platinum Technology), through to senior positions at
KPMG Consulting and CSC.
Tim Daniels – UK Managing Director, Informatica UK
As Managing Director for Informatica UK, Tim is responsible for UK growth and expansion
and all operational functions. Tim has previously held similar positions at Sand
Technologies Inc, Acta Technology Inc and BMC Software. During his successful career
he has focused on Data Integration and has established and developed key relationships
with SI’s including Accenture, Atos Origin, Cap Gemini and IBM BSC to name a few.
Tim has won numerous Sales awards including Top UK New Business Salesman and Top
Ten International Salesman.
